Help respond to disasters before they happen!

Responding to disasters is an important skill set for nonprofit professionals.  That’s why Masterworks has submitted a “Disaster Response” session proposal for the Nonprofit Technology Conference (NTC) 2012 in San Francisco next April.

NTC organizers choose conference sessions partly based on how many votes each session submission gets.  So would you help me out by voting for the session at the link below? Stop your disaster response from being a disaster.

Almost all nonprofits respond in some way to disasters.  Natural disasters, political disasters, even financial disasters — they represent wide open doors to promote nonprofit causes.

Come and receive the latest, proven and practical strategies in marketing and fundraising so your next disaster response isn’t a disaster in and of itself.  Hear from a panel experienced in disaster response from small, medium and large nonprofits.  They’ll share what they’ve learned and answer questions from the audience.

Three Great Takeaways . . .

1. Recognize that we all deal with disasters — see how to identify and respond to them.

2. Learn a variety of disaster response lessons from organizations of all sizes.

3. Share and learn among peers.

NTC is a conference well worth attending.  But if you can’t be there, and still vote for our session, I’ll be happy to email you a copy of the session if we’re chosen to present.

Thanks for helping to spread the good word.
