Masterworks is thrilled to announce that industry veteran Curt Weigel has joined the company as Vice President, Team Director.
Weigel comes to Masterworks after successful seasons at Douglas Shaw & Associates and Merkle.
“It’s a privilege to be part of the Masterworks team. I’ve admired the mission mindset of the agency for many years. I consider it an honor to play a role in the work and ministry of the many clients we serve. Each and every day we provide an outlet for donors to engage with and support causes that change lives. It’s no small task. But certainly rewarding.”
Masterworks President Steve Woodworth sees Weigel’s addition as further deepening of the company’s national leadership in fundraising and marketing for Christian non-profit organizations.
“I’ve heard Curt’s name for many years, probably first from Matt Panos, Chief Development Officer at Feed the Children. I remember clearly that Matt called Curt, ‘the best client service person I’ve ever worked with.’ That really impressed me, because Matt has worked with a lot of great people. I’ve had a strong sense, since I felt called into this work, that many of the very best people in our industry would join Masterworks. I believed it would be true because we would stay focused on Christian ministries, we would run a business model that put the client’s mission first, and we would give people lots of room to grow and to partner with other strong players. Curt’s addition to our team is another step in fulfilling that vision.”
Weigel will lead Masterworks’ Missions Team, providing strategy and leadership for Seattle’s Union Gospel Mission, Metropolitan Ministries, Union Gospel Mission Twin Cities, Phoenix Rescue Mission, Union Gospel Mission Sacramento and Orange County Rescue Mission.
The Masterworks integrated approach to marketing, fundraising and branding has made them a leader among agencies serving Christian non-profit organizations. Masterworks teams with its clients to help them grow their organizations and achieve their revenue goals, thus deepening their impact on the world.
