Masterworks is pleased to announce that Chris Schmechel and Scott Ahern have joined the company to serve as part of their digital and experience design teams.
Schmechel will serve as user experience designer. He comes to Masterworks with a wealth of experience earned at companies from Silicon Valley to the Northwest, including stints at Sun Microsystems and Big Fish Games.
Ahern will be Masterworks’ newest senior digital strategist. Ahern brings nearly 20 years of experience spanning the information technology, digital marketing, fundraising and non-profit disciplines. Most recently he served as director of digital media at Far East Broadcasting Company, where he has a track record of leading explosive growth.
Dave Raley, Masterworks’ executive vice president of analytics, innovation and strategy, can’t wait to see the impact that Schmechel and Ahern will make:
“I believe we’re called to play a leading role in pioneering the future of inspiring generosity for a generation of non-profits. Adding Chris and Scott to the team is an important step in that journey, and I’m glad to say we have the strongest mix we’ve ever had across our digital and experience design teams, bringing together the fields of user experience [UX], usability, branding, content strategy, optimization and analytics. I’m blown away by what each of them individually brings to the ministries we have the blessing of working with.”
Josh Dougherty, Lead Content Strategist sees Schmechel as an integral part of helping Masterworks’ clients honor their constituents in every communication:
“User experience design focuses on understanding how a product behaves and is used in the real world. A UX designer helps create products [websites, web applications, etc.] that will work for real people no matter how complex. Chris immediately adds to our digital capabilities as an agency.”
Raley sees similar contributions ahead from Ahern:
“I’m excited for Scott to bring his blend of marketing savvy, innovative thinking, results focus and practical hands-on experience with multiple non-profits.”
The Masterworks integrated approach to marketing, fundraising and branding has made them a leader among agencies serving Christian non-profit organizations. Masterworks teams with its clients to help them grow their organizations and achieve their revenue goals, thus deepening their impact on the world.
