Every nonprofit — including yours — is somewhere on the growth curve. At the 2019 Bridge Conference, I showed a growth curve with sections A (high growth), B (reaching the top) and C (declining). I asked for a show of hands as to where people’s organizations are on the curve. About 80% indicated “C”.
Wherever you are on the curve, your organization needs to be actively working on an innovation portfolio — developing, testing and rolling out new growth strategies.
Some will say, “We’re already highly focused on optimizing our marketing.”
That’s important, to be sure. But optimizing will take you only so far. Long-term success depends on a commitment to the continuous development of new audiences and new donor products and experiences — the strategies that fuel exponential growth.
Then join me for a special, live one-hour industry briefing on Thursday, September 26, at 9 a.m. PT / 12 p.m. ET, called Innovation AND Optimization: The Keys to Exponential Growth.
I’ll share practical information on how you can develop new audiences and experiences that will accelerate your organization’s growth.
This isn’t theory or dreaming about the future. I’ll share real strategies we’re using right now with our ministry clients to help them grow donor engagement and revenue.
